Nicolai Eddy is the COO of NALA, an Accel and Y-Combinator backed African fintech company building a digital bank.

NALA is on a mission to increase economic opportunity for Africans globally.Nico brings his experience in product from Morningstar, where he worked across the Americas and Europe. He's passionate about building products that people love, particularly when they also deliver against an acute need. Nico believes that building connective links between Africa and the world has the potential to increase financial inclusion and economic growth simultaneously. In his work at NALA, he focuses on bringing the best global talent together to work on financial innovation to enable the potential of the continent.

Nicolai has spent the duration of his professional career in the financial services sector in executive management, strategy, operations, and product management roles. He has lived and worked professionally in four continents and currently resides in Kenya. In his free time, Nicolai enjoys running marathons, exploring East Africa by motorbike, and spending time with family.
