As from 2000 I have been working at the Belgian financial supervisor and since 2006 as a supervisor on payment institutions and consequently involved with the implementation of PSD1 in Belgium.

In 2011 the prudential supervision was moved to the National Bank of Belgium and ended up at the “Surveillance of financial market infrastructures, payment services and cyber risks” department, where I’m responsible as a file manager for the prudential supervision, including everything around cross border services, on payment and e-money institutions.

In preparation of the PSD2 I was, as representative for the National Bank of Belgium, member of the EBA PSD2 Work Streams on passporting, CCP’s, register, authorizations, home-host cooperation and member of the EBA Task Force on Agents and Distributors.
