Paula is a passionate, proactive, and results-driven fintech and remittances industry leader
with over 8 years of experience. She is currently the South America Regional Director for
Terrapay, a licensed digital payments infrastructure and solutions provider that operates in
205 send and 108 receive countries.

In her previous role at Bancolombia, Paula was the Product Manager of Remittances for
three years, where she led the development and launch of strategies and products that
increased the entity market share to 52%. She then moved to NEQUI, a neobank with 15
million customers, where she was the Product Manager of Financial Products for three
years. In this role, she was responsible for the end-to-end product experience and the
lifecycle of the financial services that helped grow the customer base 175% in less than a
year.

Paula joined WorldRemit as Manager for the Latam Region in 2021, where she was
responsible for the commercial and network strategy for the Latam region.

Paula is a strong advocate for financial inclusion and believes that everyone should have
