Harvard Law School 1998, Cambridge MA, USA. Partner of Brum Costa Abogados.

Consultant on tax matters for the IDB in several tax reforms in Latin America. Consultant to the
Association of Banking Supervisors of the Americas and to several governments in the region on
money laundering prevention issues.

Former Deputy Secretary of the Presidency of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. During 2003 he
was President of GAFISUD.
