Daniel Trías is been a consultant and speaker, specialized in banking, finance and foreign
trade for more than 25 years. He has developed his career in the financial market holding
management positions in several financial intermediation institutions in Uruguay with
regional projection.

His expertise is focused on the area of International Trade Zones, Banking, means of
payment and cross-border payments for financial institutions in Mercosur and LATAM. He
has given training courses, workshops and seminars for public and private institutions in
Latin America and Europe, especially in the area of labor migration.

He has also written articles related to his areas of expertise: remittances, opening of new
markets, business development, "De Risking", among others.
He is currently an advisor to CIASEFIM - Mercosur Financial Commission formed by the
Financial Associations of Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil.
