FATF has invited IAMTN to join a consultative partnership to advise on combating money laundering within the money service business sector.
The invitation came from the Secretary General John Carlson to Lady Olga Maitland, CEO, IAMTN. The first consultative exercise will take place in Ottawa in September and thereafter there will be regular meetings between the two organizations.
Say's Lady Olga Maitland "This is a compliment to IAMTN and comes as a result of much hard work on our part in helping to set standards of professionalism within the money service sector. We will do our best to work with FATF developing a good understanding of our sector and make a solid contribution to the proposed Guidance paper."
