Xoom.com enters into deal with ReD

Xoom.com, an online money transfer company, has entered into a remittance agreement with Dominican Republic-based Remesas Dominicanas (ReD), a member of the Centro Financiero BHD. The deal would benefit Dominicans living abroad to send money to the Dominican Republic in a convenient and a faster way. The initiative would help ReD to expand means by which remittances are processed using non-conventional methods and contribute to Xoom's global strategy of making life easier for its customers worldwide.

Xoom Corporation Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development, Julian King said “Thanks to this agreement, Dominicans living abroad will have access to one of the fastest and most convenient ways to send money to the Dominican Republic.
