Softub selects Metavante to launch Canadian retail financing programme

On 25 September 2007, Softub, a provider of portable hot tubs has selected Metavante, a provider of banking and payments technology, to launch a retail financing programme to be deployed in more than 120 of its retail dealer locations across Canada. The deal aims to provide consumers of Softub Inc. with in-store point-of-sale financing using Metavante's CreditWorx technology platform. Metavante would also provide Softub with dealer support and training, including account management, loan contract auditing and funding fulfillment services.

National Sales and Dealer Development at Softub, Gary Kingsley said “We selected Metavante for its expertise in developing a wide range of retail financing programs for manufacturers all over North America. We believe that faster loan approval and turn around at the point-of-sale will not only enable us to expand the relationships we have with our dealers, but also increase customer satisfaction.”
