Orange-Mali, Bank agree terms of telephone money transfer

On 21 January 2009, Orange-Mali launched Orange Money, a mobile money transfer service in Mali in partnership with International Bank for Trade and Industry in Mali (BICIM), a subsidiary of BNP Paribas. The new service would provide an easy to handle, reliable and readily available means of payment, with all the advantages of mobility to the customers.
