Banque Atlantique selects Citi for consumer remittances

Banque Atlantique group entered into a partnership agreement with global transaction services business of Citi Group to aid workers' remittances into Africa. According to the partnership agreement, Citi's QuikRemit will offer remittance services to its customers, and also explore new avenues in Africa.

CEO of Banque Atlantique group, Charles Kie, said “We have chosen Citi as our global payments partner due to their unrivalled network, technological advantage and superior customer service. Using a bank as opposed to a money transfer agency to send money home is a big shift in mind-set for consumers and industry alike.”
